Use Chloromycetin orally with a glass of water, regardless of meals, through equal time periods. Note, that to comply the schedule is very important if you use this medication, so don't miss your doses. If you have a possibility to find some better medication, that is safer and more effective you shouldn't use this drug.

Symptoms of Chloromycetin overdose are following: easy bruising or bleeding, persistent sore throat, fever, or unusual fatigue, headache, mild depression, mental confusion, rashes, angioedema, watery and bloody stools (with or without stomach cramps and fever).
Store at room temperature between 59-77 degrees F (15-25 degrees C), in a dark and dry place. Save it from children and pets. Watch the expiration date!

Possible side effect
It is necessary to control blood condition because sometimes Cloromycetin may cause serious, even fatal, blood disorders (for instance, bone marrow hypoplasia, aplastic anemia). It is possible that treatment with antibacterial agents can change the normal flora of the colon and it may cause some intestinal disorders ranging in severity from mild diarrhea to fatal colitis. Also in rare cases is possible gray baby syndrome (in neonates). It involves hypothermia, cyanosis, flaccidity, and circulatory collapse, is often fatal.
